Community Rules

These rules keep the city fair, safe, and immersive for everyone. Not knowing a rule is not a defence — read them before you play.

General Conduct

8 rules
1.1

Respect Everyone#

Treat every player and staff member with respect. Toxicity, flaming, and deliberately ruining others’ experience are not tolerated, in-character or out.

1.2

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination#

Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and any hate speech result in an immediate ban. This applies even within roleplay — there is no “it was just RP” exception.

1.3

No Harassment#

Targeted harassment, stalking, doxxing, or threats against any member — in the city, in Discord, or in DMs — will be met with a permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.

1.4

Age Requirement#

You must be 16 or older to play, and 18 or older to participate in mature roleplay scenarios. Misrepresenting your age is grounds for removal.

1.5

Account Responsibility#

You are responsible for everything done on your account. “My friend was playing” or “my account was hacked” will not excuse rule breaks. Do not share accounts.

1.6

No Staff Impersonation#

Do not claim to be staff, imply you have authority you don’t, or pretend to act on staff’s behalf. Staff will never ask for your password or payment outside the official shop.

1.7

No Advertising#

Advertising other servers, communities, or services — in-game, in Discord, or via DM — is prohibited.

1.8

Working Microphone Required#

A clear, working microphone is required to play. Roleplay is voice-driven; you must be able to communicate verbally in the city.

🎭

Roleplay Standards

10 rules
2.1

Stay In Character#

Remain in character at all times while in the city. Use the designated OOC (out-of-character) channels or commands only for genuine technical issues, never for general chatter.

2.2

New Life Rule (NLR)#

When your character is downed and respawns at hospital, they forget the events leading to their death. You may not return to the scene or seek revenge for that death. NLR applies for 15 minutes and only to hostile situations — a minor accidental crash does not trigger it.

2.3

Value of Life & Fear RP#

Your character values their life. When realistically outnumbered, outgunned, or at gunpoint, you must show appropriate fear and comply. Pulling a weapon against overwhelming odds is a breach.

2.4

No Metagaming#

Using out-of-character information in character is forbidden. This includes acting on stream chat, Discord messages, DMs, or anything your character could not realistically know. Recognising someone by their voice is acceptable; knowing their name from Discord is not.

2.5

No Powergaming#

Do not force outcomes on others or perform unrealistic actions to gain an advantage. Examples: using /me to declare a result the other player can’t counter, surviving clearly fatal injuries, or carrying impossible amounts of gear.

2.6

No Fail RP#

Maintain realism. Treating the city like GTA Online — reckless driving with no consequence, ignoring injuries, or breaking immersion — undermines everyone’s experience.

2.7

Realistic Character Names#

Character names must be believable. No celebrity names, joke names, offensive names, or single-word names.

2.8

No Stream Sniping#

Watching a player’s live stream to locate them, track their actions, or interfere with their roleplay is a serious offence.

2.9

No Combat Logging#

Disconnecting to avoid an active roleplay scene, arrest, robbery, or consequence is prohibited. If you genuinely crash, return immediately and rejoin the scene; notify staff if you cannot.

2.10

No Breaking Character in Scenes#

Never go OOC during an active scenario. If there is a genuine problem, use OOC sparingly to flag it, then take it to a ticket afterward.

⚔️

Combat & Conflict

8 rules
3.1

No Random Deathmatch (RDM)#

Attacking or killing another player without proper roleplay and a valid in-character reason is RDM. All conflict must build from interaction — you cannot kill someone you have not engaged with.

3.2

No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)#

Using a vehicle as a weapon — running players over or ramming them — without roleplay context is VDM. Repeatedly hitting a downed player with a vehicle is treated as severe.

3.3

Proper Initiation#

Hostile action requires clear verbal initiation and a realistic demand. The other party must have a fair chance to understand and respond. “Hands up” typed in chat is not initiation — it must be spoken.

3.4

Group Combat Caps#

No more than the configured number of attackers may engage a single target group at once. Stacking numbers to overwhelm is unrealistic and unfun. Check current caps with staff.

3.5

Respect Safe Zones#

Hospitals, police stations, and other designated green zones are no-crime areas. No robbery, kidnapping, or violence is permitted within them.

3.6

No Spawn Camping#

Camping hospital or respawn points to attack players as they return to the world is prohibited and ties into NLR.

3.7

No Cop Baiting#

Deliberately provoking police for no roleplay reason — shooting in front of them, ramming patrol cars to start a chase — is low-effort RP and not allowed.

3.8

Hostage & Kidnapping Rules#

Hostages must be given genuine roleplay. You may not kill a complying hostage. Hostage situations involving police require realistic demands and an exit plan, not a death sentence.

🔫

Criminal Activity

5 rules
4.1

Robbery Limits#

Robberies must be roleplayed with intent and reason. Do not rob the same player repeatedly, rob brand-new players, or strip victims of everything for no reason. Robbery is a story tool, not a loot grind.

4.2

Heists & Major Crime#

Bank heists and major operations require the minimum police count to be online (ask staff for current numbers). Crime should scale to available emergency response — no major heists on an empty server.

4.3

No Robbing Emergency Services#

Police and EMS may be held up where roleplay justifies it, but may not be stripped of all equipment or robbed of their service weapons and vehicles.

4.4

Emergency Vehicle Theft#

Stealing police or EMS vehicles is only permitted with a strong roleplay reason as part of an active scenario — never opportunistically.

4.5

No Prohibited RP#

Torture, sexual assault, suicide, and self-harm roleplay are strictly forbidden. Serious criminal RP must stay within community standards.

🚗

Vehicles & Realism

2 rules
5.1

Drive Realistically#

Drive as your character realistically would. No off-road rallying in a supercar to escape, no driving through water, and no using terrain unrealistically to evade pursuit.

5.2

Realistic Property Use#

Do not enter buildings or areas your character could not realistically access to escape, and do not store items or stash in places that bypass intended mechanics.

🚫

Exploits & Cheating

4 rules
6.1

No Cheating or Modding#

Any cheat software, menus, injectors, or unauthorised modifications result in an immediate permanent ban with no appeal. This includes texture mods that give unfair advantage.

6.2

No Bug or Exploit Abuse#

If you find a bug or exploit, report it in a ticket immediately. Abusing it — for money, items, or advantage — is treated the same as cheating.

6.3

No Item or Money Exploits#

Duplicating items, transferring assets between your own characters to bypass mechanics, or moving items/money in from outside the city is a permanent-ban offence.

6.4

No Third-Party Communication for IC Advantage#

Using external voice (Discord, Teamspeak, party chat) to coordinate during active in-character scenes is metagaming and a serious breach.

💬

Discord & Community

5 rules
7.1

Keep Discord Clean#

Discord conduct follows the same respect rules as the city. Keep conversations in the right channels and follow staff direction.

7.2

No NSFW or Disturbing Content#

No pornographic, gory, or excessively disturbing content anywhere in Discord or the city.

7.3

No Spam#

Do not spam messages, pings, images, or commands. Do not mass-DM members. Do not ping staff repeatedly — open a ticket.

7.4

Reports Go Through Tickets#

All player reports and complaints must be made through the ticket system with evidence, never in public channels or by DMing staff.

7.5

Staff Decisions Are Final#

Staff have final say on rule interpretation. If you disagree, appeal calmly through the proper channel. Arguing in chat or harassing staff will extend, not reduce, any penalty.

Need to report a rule break?

Open a ticket in Discord with evidence, or submit it through your dashboard. Reports made in public channels won't be actioned. Staff decisions are final — appeal calmly through the proper channel.
